TORQUIL DEARDEN
Previously head of the Henry department at VTR and a major player in the
high end commercials created there, voted editor of the year in 1989. Worked
on the great Pulp pop video for "The Common People".
Last year Torquil became editor for the British Society of Cinematographers
and edited and post produced a 90 minute show evaluating the latest
generation of Film and Digital cameras, all done at 2k in P3 colour space
and has been screened many times in Digital Cinemas, and at IBC in Amsterdam
on a 60ft screen. It was also adapted for Blu-ray - involving a colour space
conversion to REC709 and HD from the 2k files.
